Weekly Photo Challenge – Endurance

This week’s photo challenge asks to share what endurance means to us. From the post, “maybe it’s your beat-up, well-traveled running shoes, the oldest structure in your town…” Check out the original post here.

In reviewing my gallery, I was struck by the number of trees I photograph. It occurred to me that some varieties of trees are long-lived, and many survive in poor soil conditions. I submit for your visual stimulation a small gallery of tree images taken in Hawaii. Click on one of the images below to enlarge it and to scroll through the gallery.
